We know you love Jade; that's why you are on this site. So, we would hate to have you make a visit to the hospital or our home and ask you to leave... Jade has adjusted to being back in the hospital and looks forward to seeing some of her favorite nurses and doctors, but she LOVES familiar, friendly faces.
If you have or have had a fever, sore throat, cough, diarrhea, cold, recent vaccination, and/or are feeling sick, please avoid visiting. The chemotherapy Jade receives makes her very susceptible to infections that children with normally functioning immune systems could fend off, but in her could be fatal.

During Jade's first round of chemotherapy in 2012, her ANC was below 500 for more than three weeks. My hands -- as well as Shameika's and Grandma's -- may very well still recovering from all the handwashing and hand sanitizer that we used. If you are considering making a visit, please speak with me or Jaytoe first. We anticipate even stricter visitation guidelines when we enter the transplant phase of her treatment.
